Bridging Travel Expertise with Healthcare Innovation
A few years ago, we had a meeting with a medical centre to discuss its website, mobile app, online appointments and other digital requirements. We were not given the opportunity, with the reason that we were too focused on the travel industry. We were disappointed, but that very same day, we set ourselves a goal: to have a live healthcare project that was genuinely different in terms of quality, performance and capability. Interestingly, that opportunity eventually came through a connection from the travel industry itself.
For us, effort and time were never the main criteria. Our focus was on delivering quality. The result was a high-performance website hosted on Amazon Cloud, built using modern technology and supported by a custom CMS designed in line with the medical centre’s operational model. It included online appointment options, detailed department pages, doctor profiles, doctor availability information and more. The website was carefully tested for search engine optimisation, speed and performance, and developed on a scalable architecture designed to support future growth. Today, we genuinely feel proud whenever we drive past that medical centre and see how it continues to grow.
Today, SG Technology Consultants can deliver high-quality healthcare technology projects, including websites, mobile apps and digital solutions for hospitals, clinics, medical centres, dental clinics, wellness centres, physiotherapy centres, acupuncture clinics and more. 1. Inauguration Day & Brand Awareness
Our marketing management played a key role in introducing the medical centre’s brand to the market. This included creating awareness around the inauguration, presenting the medical centre and its services, highlighting the profiles of its founders, activating all key social media channels, and publishing inauguration-day videos across major digital platforms. The entire digital side of the brand launch was carefully planned and executed with a very limited budget, ensuring maximum visibility, consistent brand communication, and a strong initial market presence.
2. SEO & Competitive Keyword Positioning
During the first few weeks, we faced a genuine challenge with local SEO, search engine visibility and keyword rankings, as the medical centre was operating in a highly competitive area surrounded by numerous hospitals, medical centres and clinics. Despite the competition, we implemented a structured SEO strategy focused on improving local search visibility, strengthening key search engine listings and achieving the best possible keyword positioning within the contract period. By the end of our engagement, the maximum achievable progress within the agreed timeframe had been delivered. The entire SEO structure, processes and responsibilities were then handed over to the medical centre’s internal IT team for continued management and future development.

3. Social Media Marketing
We established the medical centre’s presence across all key authorised social media platforms. A clear brand compliance process was defined to ensure consistency across all digital communications, and every piece of content was created in line with the medical centre’s brand identity, tone and positioning. For approximately six months, we managed the social media presence, content creation, publishing and digital engagement, gradually strengthening the brand’s online visibility despite operating with a limited marketing budget. Once the social media channels were well established and the process was fully structured, the responsibility was systematically handed over to the medical centre’s internal marketing team for continued management.
4. Content Management System – CMS Management
A new medical centre typically goes through continuous updates during its early stages, including the onboarding of new doctors, the introduction of internal departments, permitted seasonal promotions, doctor availability schedules, job vacancy announcements, expert-contributed content and other operational updates. For approximately six months, we managed these ongoing website content requirements and ensured that the information remained current, structured and aligned with the medical centre’s operations. Once the website was fully established and the content management process was running smoothly, the responsibility was systematically handed over to the medical centre’s internal IT team for continued management.
