We work independently across GDSs, NDC aggregators, technology providers, consolidators and booking platforms, without preference for any particular supplier. Regardless of the systems used by a travel agency, we undertake the required internal studies, product training and coordination to deliver reliable implementation and support services.
For selected products and platforms in which we have developed specialised expertise, we also provide a structured second-level support service to travel agencies and their corporate clients. Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do you support the implementation of any travel technology product, or only platforms you already know?
We can support the implementation of both familiar and new travel technology products. Previous experience with the exact platform is not always essential. Our team can study the product, work closely with the agency’s project team, attend training sessions with the technology provider and build the required knowledge. Recently aslo, we have successfully followed this approach for both an India-based Corporate SBT and a globally recognised self-booking platform.
2. Do you work with any GDS, NDC aggregator or technology supplier?
Yes. SG follows a supplier-independent approach and can support projects involving different GDSs, NDC aggregators, booking engines, consolidators and technology providers. No individual or company can have specialist knowledge of every platform, so where required, we also work with experienced external consultants who have expertise in a particular GDS, supplier or technology.
3. Are your implementation and second-level support services expensive?
SG is one of the more flexible consultancy and project management firms in the region. Our engagement and commercial models can be structured according to the project scope, required resources and support period. The continued onboarding of both existing and new clients reflects our focus on maintaining an affordable service while delivering practical value.
4. How do you manage when the number of projects increases?
SG was established in 2020 during the peak of the COVID-19 period, which shaped our careful and strategic approach to business growth. While SG directly manages and drives every project, we also maintain five resource partnerships that can provide additional specialist and operational support as project volumes increase. This structure allows us to scale efficiently without unnecessarily increasing permanent overheads, while SG retains full responsibility for project direction, accountability and client relationships.
5. What happens if our agency later decides to build an internal implementation or support team?
We will support a structured handover to your internal team. This can include documentation, knowledge transfer, resource training, pending-issue reviews and coordination with the relevant technology providers. As with any additional professional service, the effort required for training and transition will be assessed based on the scope.
6. What does your second-level support service cover?
Second-level support is available for selected products and platforms in which SG has developed specialised knowledge. It can include investigating functional and technical issues, reviewing user-reported problems, coordinating with technology providers, monitoring pending cases, supporting configuration changes and helping the agency communicate clear findings to its corporate clients.
7. Will SG replace the technology provider’s own support team?
No. SG normally works between the agency, its users and the technology provider. We help identify and document issues, carry out initial investigations, coordinate resolutions and follow up on escalations. Issues that require source-code access, supplier-side changes or platform-level development will continue to be handled by the relevant technology provider.
8. Can you support our corporate clients directly?
For selected Corporate CBT, SBT and B2E platforms, SG can provide a structured second-level support service to the agency’s corporate clients. The support model, communication channels, responsibilities and escalation process will be agreed with the travel agency to ensure that the agency remains informed and in control of the client relationship. 1st level support scenarios case by case to be discussed.
9. Can you support both implementation and ongoing operations after launch?
Yes. SG can assist from the initial study and implementation stage through configuration, testing, training and go-live coordination. Depending on the platform and agreed scope, we can also continue with post-launch monitoring, user support, issue coordination, performance reviews, reporting and recommendations.
10. Which types of travel technology platforms do you support?
Our implementation services cover B2C Internet Booking Engines, B2B consolidator platforms, Corporate CBT and SBT solutions, B2E booking systems, DMC and tour management engines, CRM systems, ERP platforms and mid/back-office solutions. The exact scope is defined according to the product, supplier responsibilities and the operational requirements of the travel agency.
